Thanks for the replies, guys. Doesn't sound as if anyone is experiencing precisely the change that I think I've noticed, so it may not be a genuine phenomenon. Just feels like the balance has swung further from the retail trader with the advent of alternative trading platforms and the rise of HFT. The game is always changing and you have to change with it.
