IMO Gould record keeping is a key trait of winning traders

If people kept good records

I am certain they will find chasing runners intraday

Is a key destroyer of portfolio wealth

It was for me (especially chasing sub 2c mongrels intraday)

Still is occasionally

Only trade perfect setups

Don't chase runners

Plan your trades

Set stops

Have an idea when you will at least take partial profits

Don't be fully invested when the market direction is uncertain (like now)
