MEETING: FBU: Annual Shareholders' Meeting and Director Nominations

Auckland, 12 August 2013 - Fletcher Building advises that the 2013 annual
shareholders' meeting will be held in the Level 4 Lounge, Corporate Entry G,
South Stand, Reimers Avenue, Eden Park, Auckland at 10.30 am on Wednesday 16
October 2013.

In terms of NZX Listing Rule 3.3.5 and ASX Listing Rule 14.3, the period for
nomination of directors opens on 13 August 2013 and will remain open until
5.00 pm on 10 September 2013.
