Hmm... This remind me a story I heard about Black Tuesday 1929.

A famous investor had his shoes polished in the street. While polishing the guy at his feet was explaining how he was investing in the stock market. The investor realised that this poor guy was following the same tactics has he, and he "realised" that something was amiss if a street polisher could understand the market and decided to sell all.
He did it a few days before Black Tuesday.

I am still not sure how to interpret this anecdote...
