Hi all,
Just to keep you updated, some strong rumours going around that JLP might be closing in on a smelting deal with Northam for their new Booysendal mine which has recently started producing.
Northam and JLP signed an MOU in 2009 on this matter - the Booysendal material is high UG2 concentrate so they were looking at using Conroast to process it - they don't have many other options!
Worth keeping an eye on...if it comes off it could be huge - your new JLP shares could be worth a helluva lot more on merger completion even with the new ratio.
