re: the 3 worst prime ministers in oz When we judge a PM, we have to take 'economic management' into account, as the running of the country is like running a big household, and we just can't keep strapping on more debt to cover excessive spending. Gough being sacked was all about his parties excessive spending, the Lib's stopped his supply of money, and by the way, although John Kerr gave him the bad news, so did 70% of voters. All Gough's front bench were lined up to play Santa Claus to the electorate, and alot of people still don't realise that the poli's aren't giving their money away, it's all of ours. So, in my opinion, Gough would be the worst PM we've had. The worst Liberal PM was Menzies, mainly due to the fact that he would have preferred to be a pom than one of the people he represented, in a nation that was striving for it's own identity.
