Politicians are there to do a job and that to make decisions that are best (hopefully) for the countries that they governing and hopefully to win them a few more votes.
For all goodness sake we hope that they make good decisions or else the people including themselves have to pay for it right!
"Meerkat" I could see your points and they are valid ones too. If you were Cameron and given the economic situation that UK is in now. Do you have any suggestions on how to get it out of the hole?
I have read a book called "Good to great" by Jim collins. If you have an opportunity, have a look at it then perhaps you will understand on why Cameron is so keen to get in there and to generate a few bucks for every body in UK.
Sometimes all one could do is to do anything to bring in a dollar or two just enough to get themselves out of a hole... and who knows the momentum could build up from there!
