dolce - you brought up the pink batts - the reason KR is considered culpable is because he ignored as I understand it 7 warnings including one from his own minister - and there are emails to this effect that the government is refusing to release - one can only assume that this inability to change course and deviate from his grand plan is a factor of the personality involved - I do not agree with you on the Batts affair - Kevin Rudd has through his in-action stoped any chance of an intervention to some of these deaths
I also re-iterate that Wayne Swann was on a number of occasions told that the forecast where wrong and to for example go from surplus to an 18 billion dollar hole which is now closer to thirty billion in a matter of 6 months would suggest the government stop using those providing this rubbish
