In order to protect the confidentiality, or what is left of it, of the ALDP, this was the best possible update as it could function for the market as an indirect confirmation that we received the offer letter.
It was the only place holder comment left for DPI to move forward without openly admitting who got a letter and who did not.
I believe that the letters were indeed sent and a dopey government official placed the notification on the website without realising that it should not be there.
Off to negotiations, in my opinion.
