If I'm an insto and I want to exit a large position, I'll have a limit price that i'm willing to sell for- or if there's sufficient volume I'll just sell down on market. An Ice berg order isn't necessarily to push the price down, it could be a genuine attempt to exit the stock without pushing down the bid.
