I bought another 1.5 mil today and will keep buying as I read today's developments as an indirect confirmation of several components.


As you already mentioned, ECT management acted quickly as they firmly believe that they are in the mix.
They also might have wanted to confirm that they were selected.

The confirmation could have come back and they were told to play along the - no decision yet - line in order to keep indirect guess work at bay and chances equal.

For that reason they repeated the DPI website wording word by word.
Its a party line.



Governmental subsidy programs often have made up their minds early on in the selection phase which company to support but must run the course of equal opportunity for everybody to the letter until announcements can be done.
How often have I witnessed that certain jobs were given away, funds decided well before it was publicly advertised by the government to be taken up.

I see no reason why the ALDP is different here in any way.


In my opinion, the government will go with one applicant representing large funds standing behind them in order to get jobs and infrastructure secured at an early stage.

Other applicants will be chosen purely due to scientific and technological superiority.
That is where ECT comes in.

Think back to the 16th of June, supposedly a day after the offer notice for the last round of negotiations, the abundant optimism shared by Ashley, the confidence via the presentation, the enthusiasm shared by shareholders who had attended.

That was a true indicator.



All the recent delays and endless wait for offer letter confirmations are only place holders for a process long in progress, as I see it.


I agree with SP3, next ann will be the funding details as offer letter can and won't be announced at any time.
Until then, we will just wait for confirmation of the offer letter being sent out.....
