Stretch your minds a bit please. The money going towards our car industry is to promote more innovation to get a car that doesn't pollute and muck up the environment etc. etc. How to get good electric, non-fuel guzzling cars made so we can travel the long distances in Australia, that is the main point that Labor is on about.
Truly do I care about cars, the smelly ones that is. No! I walk, take public transport and fly. I choose fitness rather than drive a car or ride a motor bike. And I live in an inner city area so don't have a high need to drive everywhere. However I do like to buy local, and this I believe is a very good move.
