Would you not agree, that it is expensive to raise a child these Days?

Maybe I'm from the wrong generation but is it more expensive now than say 30 - 40 years ago to raise kids.

No baby bonus, no paid parental leave but thousands managed to bring up their kids without government handouts.

The cost of the existing and the proposed, could well be spent in more important areas.

I think Costello was wrong and I think both of the current mob are wrong.

Disclosure:I have two grown up kids that are contributing to society whilst I play golf (retired and still slice the ball from time to time).
