Its for the kiddies. What BS
Vote for kids’ future
Daily Examiner, Grafton NSW by None 17 Aug 2013
I’M DELIGHTED our local paper has given front page coverage to the quality of our drinking water, one of our four basic, essential needs.
This is why there is so much community concern about the adverse environmental effects from coal seam gas operations as well as mining exploration in the Upper Clarence catchment.
Our children are only 20% of the population; but they are one 100% of the future.
And the future we bequest to all our children is a finite world and their world depends on four basic needs; the vital, legal performance enhancing substances of unpolluted watei uncontaminated soil, clean, carbon-constrained air and species diversity, the web of life that holds everything together.
In the future you choose, you want to hand on to your children and grandchildren their finite world in which you can guarantee their long-term health and safety.
The Green’s candidates promote investment in a vision for a long term future for your children. But how do you ensure the major party politicians show concerns about addressing climate change, water quality, etc., as priority issues in the lead-up to the election? All the best in the future. C hoose for your children.
