GXY have only one asset in China and that's where everyone wants to set up shop. It is the most advance spodumene processing plant in the world and will be the largest battery grade lithium carbonate producer when capacity production is reached. Mt Catlin and James Bay has enough spodumene to run the Jiangsu plant for over 30 years. Sal de Vida is the same size/quality as Orocobre's Sal de Olaroz project an nobody is writing that off. In fact the Korean JV partners currently own only 4% of Sal de Vida. To buy/develop the site and end up with just 30% of it will cost them twice as much as taking over GXY and owning 100% of everything. If they were intent on walking away they would have done it by now. Recently, they have stated publicly that they consider Bolivia a risk and WILL be acquiring more lithium assets in other regions.
