Kingpins and fat bloater,why pick on my small well managed ,technically advanced IP protected company,considering we are losing one manufacturing job every 20 minutes (going by abbott).
The fact any manufacturer is able to produce in australia is beyond belief.
They have their new 50/50 JV in china excluding defense grade,they export defense grade to 'friendly'countries and they continuously improve their mining and construction product eg bis 600.
If austral can manufacture naval vessels that meet US standards in alabama why completely disregard australia's ability to produce a competitive vessel in australia even considering our govt's stupidity.
Recently the US complained ? about australia's defence spend,so imo it's in their interest with technology sharing to make sure we produce something that can assist their defence force.eg by memory our not to clever engineers bolted engines etc direct onto the collins hulls until they were made aware by other countries they had to turn down their sonar volume because of the noise our subs made.
Surely we have learnt something from the first 6 collins and imo the germans are not fools with their diesel/electric subs.
