Brett - settle petal : ) the only way we wont know who bought the 13m M & G cross trade is they sold them to more than one buyer ( under 5% report level each ) - if they have cross traded them to a new holding entity we will be told.
as for shorts outstanding there are 7.2m as at the 15/08
Worst case scenario ( IMO ) the Chinese have bought them -
