re: Ann: Update on the Unconventional Drillin... sounds like a positive result, but I am left perplexed.
How do they make the headline statement:
? "Notice of Petroleum Discovery – Keppel-1 in ATP 855"
then not provide any basis for the statement?
they just say:
"While Keppel-1 was drilling through the Permian target formations, it encountered strong gas influx from the overpressured Epsilon Formation.... The gas encountered in Keppel-1 confirms the continuation of the basin-centred gas play."
well we knew it was over-pressured and subsequently suspended. so that's no basis for this declaration.
so just what does "Notice of Petroleum Discovery" mean?
why have they made the statement?
Beach have not come out with that statement, have they?
what is going on?
anyone got any ideas?
