you could use vwap, high and lows of the day or volume spreads at price steps.
whatever you do it will show very low returns on the spread
probably only covers desk costs to operate the system.
if and when it begins to bounce the theory is they will sell in controlled slow or rapid movement to close out the position for profit or accumulation
