To you and Quackie above, who should really check his facts. Big private companies do not pay less than the public service, that's why the public service is full of wannabees.

Currently a waitress, a low paid female worker does not have access to am employer sponsored PPL so gets the Labor one. That same female will be $5000 better off under the Coalition plan.
Currently a female working in the public service gets 14 weeks paid at her salary AND the Labor PPL scheme payments.

The Coalition policy will be to make these equal according to salary and get rid of that double dipping.
