Hi gyro,
From everything I've read (and that's a lot) it isn't unusual for good solid companies to have a P/E of 6-8 at the bottom of bear markets. Not saying that is going to happen but you can smell the fear in this market and if the market was driven to irrational heights on the upside who's to say it can't fall to irrational lows.
Like you I have no price projections, the market will do what it wants. But I've learnt not to be surprised by anything that happens in markets.
