    i don't think its uncommon for off-taker to finance own storage facilities on site. I have seen cases where the off-taker 'prepays' for off-take, the funds from which are used to pay the capital. This is fairly tax effective ...

    possibly that's the link between off-take agreement and on-site storage. the complexity fo these transactions is tenure ie how long the off-take agreement is written for.
