Tonight on the ABC news there was a case concerning a woman being evicted from a Homeswest residence. He late husband died from cancer which he contracted from spraying DTD whilst employed as a sub- contractor for a government department. She has been caring for her dying son for the past year. He died recently, and as the tenancy was only in his name, Homeswest have given her an eviction notice. She is elderly, and has nowhere to go, and cannot afford the rates for private rental here in Perth. When I was a child I used to laugh at my father when he stated " The trouble with common sense is its not common to all" How wrong was I.
