record number of people coming, yeah right. Rentals listed are almost double what they were 12 month ago. Rent is falling.
People came for jobs, once they go so will the people.
Record low interest rates are at record low for a reason.
If you invested in Perth property during the downturn you'd already be ahead, yeah right.
If you consider the cost of buying ( fees, stamp duty ) and include inflation you are still down. You need at least another 5-8% to break even.
Not saying there aren't any opportunities :)
