it seems to me that rudd has deep seated unresolved childhood issues
his desperate need to be liked and to be seen to be popular shows a vast lack of character and indicates that his childhood was littered with events that he was either bullied or rejected by his peers and parents. maybe he wasnt a wanted child - this can cause problems later in life such as are being displayed by him today
he needs professional help imho
