manny, it was a well thought out, well carried out attack on a nation that considered itself beyond such things. Compared to American fiascos around the world, whether large wars like Vietnam or rescue missions like the Iranian hostage crisis - it was done well.
Perhaps that is why so many Americans are desperate to believe in the conspiracy theories. They cannot accept that a bunch of amateurs could possibly succeed against the greatest country the world has ever seen, in fact only one country could have carried it out ....
