As if anyone should believe what the Murdoch media is saying about such matters; seeing is believing and it could well be that the Coalition isn't even being charged for the ads that have saturated our media for weeks now - on top of all those front page editorials that don't count either.

The good people of Indi have hardly seen a single Labor ad either in newspapers, on tv or radio.

In stark contrast Liberal ads. featuring Joe Hockey facial blood vessels and Sophie Mirabella's orangutan red lips have virtually etched themselves permanently into our tv screens.

But it appears the mountain of mailouts and saturation advertising for Sophie Mirabella is actually counter-productive.

Many voters in Indi are sick of the sight of her and longing for an alternative. They may yet get their wishes!
