G'day rob and all BKP holders.
As BKP is the only ASX listed company linked to the Statoil program, it would be in the best interests of the government and NT government to keep them there don't you think? I mean, if Statoil and BKP are sitting on a fortune of oil and gas, surely the NT government would want an Australian company in the mix?
Therefore, would it be possible for BKP to secure some sort of funding from the government/NT government? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
I hold BKP shares, and I believe that the Southern Georgina Basin could be the next big thing. The big question is will BKP be around long enough to share the riches?
I am quite concerned about BKP's current financial position, and how BKP will secure any additional funding (obviously we are in no position to raise funds with a CR at the moment).
Your thoughts?
And for the record, I also think that things are starting to look better for BKP. With Statoil at the helm and CTP/Total's exploration program in the SGB now underway, could be an exciting next 12 months. But like I said, the big question is can BKP hang around for long enough?
Cheers.
