Going to close down coal exports and the live cattle exports. Planning to establish abbattoirs in the north to process the cattle here in Australia and create employment. Not sure how viable the abbattoirs will be when because of the wet season you can't deliver cattle for 6 months of the year. Claiming that shutting down mining industries would save the govt. money because they would not be paying fossil fuel subsidies. There are no fossil fuel subsidies because the excise on diesel fuel is only for on road use, farmers and miners dont use the fuel on road so the tax paid is returned to them. Since when is not paying a tax that you are not liable for a subsidy. Claiming that action on Climate Change will save the barrier reef. Rising sea levels encourage the growth of coral, falling water levels are a threat. Coral loves warm water and grows really well in the tropics, the further north you go toward PNG the better it grows. The greens are dangerously delusional.
