In personally don't think Obama wants to got to war but he couldn't stand by any longer & see what is happening in Syria. He was keen to get out of the Mid/East & this certainly won't help him rebalance the budget. It would be great if it was a UN lead strike & obviously we all hope civilians are spared. China & Russia will try the outmost to block that happening. Unfortunately the US has a very tarnished reputation particularly since Iraq & also as many point out the US are very selective when it comes to where they want to use military force & where they turn a blind eye. In saying that if indeed chemical weapons are being used by the Syrian Govt then imo we cannot standby & allow it to continue.
