Errrr, no. Our bread and butter is China, and Abbott has even intimated he may lean towards Asia. Only this a.m. there was an article in Bloomberg about Australia being the meat in the sandwich between the US and China. There would be no sense in us joining the beating of war drums against China and starving just to suck-hole to the US.
Re Syria, forget the politics........its wrong to attack a country on false pretenses, and the US has already sucked us in there a couple of times. Hope we dont fall for it again.
