advice should not be given on these sorts of forums dude, its not appropriate!

the sharing of ideas, thoughts, suggestions, opinions, and research, they are all fine, but i do not believe the giving of advise is appropriate.

And giving advise is VERY different to the abovementioned items. I'll give you an example.

The following would be advise: "BTA experiencing unprecended demand for Relenza and a promising litigation decision looking likely, you would probably do very well if you put a percentage of your investment into BTA, so i'd suggest that would be an excellent course of action" <-- that is blatant advise

the following is opinion/fact/research: "BTA have announced higher demand for relenza, being much higher than previous yrs and litigation against GSK is looking promising. I think that the company will do well, i might buy some shares, i think they'll be $4 by christmas this year" <--- some fact mixed with opinion

the difference being the first one actually make a firm suggestion, it is intended to be acted upon. the second one does not do that, leaves the decison entirely up to the individual, does not provide any advice at all.
