I see dark days ahead, the past 3 years has seem political debate dragged down to an all low and it will only get worse from here.

I see in the polls that PUP has had surge in support along with independents, a sure sign that voters are sick of the two major parties.

Personally life will go on for me, I will make the most of what ever gets served up but I feel sorry for the low to middle income families that will see their incomes fall and increases in cost of living. I point to the education bonus for starters which will see a family with 3 kids lose out on some $2,000 per year.

If you think power cost will come down and reduce the cost of living you are dreaming, at best it would be negligible.

Wait and see what the senate will look like but what ever it is they don't take there seat until mid next year so at least until then Abbott will struggle to get his policies passed and we'll have a lame duck government.

Greens actually support Abbott's PPL (funny that) but capped at $50K is at least a bet better than what Abbott proposes.
