the good news lappy is that the labor party have set a pretty low standard. both rudd and gillard were tossed out by their own party, in their first term - and finally the electorate tossed out rudd.
who cares what a lefty person in england might tweet - or some comment in an american newspaper - those comments have just as much insignificance as a lefty comment on hc.
sadly abbott is too left wing, but to get into office, one has to appeal to the masses - and sadly the masses are too ignorant - just look at the way that the liberal democratic party increased its vote in the senate, by having snared first place in the senate paper (for nsw)
