I dug around to find out more about GLNG production as my figures in the previous post just seemed too low to be right- and they are. They did only produce 4.9 pj for the half year, but I found another preso whcih says they have 325 wells drilled and current capacity of 250 tj/d which is about 90 pj p. from 166 wells. Shows how much each Fairview wells can deliver.
Suppose this means alot of gas is going into storage or wells are being idled.
Either way they are still a long distance short of 600 pj per year with two years to go, but I suppose with over 200 wells being drilled this year maybe the build up is there?
Maintaining that production over 20 years though?
ALl to say WCL is sitting in the box seat to help one of these projects if they are falling short.
