So what do you think of SBM? Dead horse meat I suppose?

For SLR/EVN/SBM and other OZ based goldies it will depend on where the POG heads to in AUD terms, and the extend to which they can bring costs down. I was hoping AUD would be trending towards 80 cents US, but instead it has recovered to over 92 cents. If QE tapering starts then I would expect the USD to strengthen against AUD.

People are being a bit harsh on EVN. EVN was one share that held up very well until today.

As for MML, they are in transition to a higher production level and need to prove their new production and cost levels before they can be properly rated. In addition there is the added factor of a new tax regime being considered in the Philippines. I expect MML will be a survivor from a low POG.

loki (of the above companies I am holding a reduced level of SBM shares, just so I could continue to feel the pain)
