    I thihk the dispoable unit use the same tech, but its not actually a unifill syringe. The disposable unit you just open up from memory and clip in an off the shelf unifill and close it up and away you go. If you are old, frail, have a disease that inhibits movement then the disposable aut-injector is a good hands up to injecting.

    I dont think either product allows syringes from other manufacturers to be used in UNS models.

    Why, well in the case of the re-usable it is an elegant solution of ensuring that needle tick injuries are very unlikely. The disposable....less clear as I know many have means of needle shields and I am betting just about all new ones coming out have needle shields of some description. Now having to puch down on your skin hard enough that the shields are disengaged to allow for injection vs the unifill tech in the disposable.

    Who knows. There was a presentation recently where AS himself skipped over it saying he didnt have enough time to discuss it so I dont think its an action packed part of the portfolio
