IMA have reported their BOONANARRING and ATLAS deposits represent a total resource of 32.3 million [email protected] heavy mineral sand the intention is to mine the deposits at a rate of up to3.3million tonnes per annum over a projected 10 year mine life.
Annual production from the mine is expected to average 89,000t of ilemite,5500t of leucoxene 9,000t of rutile and 32,000t of zircon for a combined annual production of these heavy minerals of 135,000 t.
Ima has another 6 strand lines to investigate in the Perth basin which could add significant value to the Company.
