With regard to the recent technical results from ABU, the confirmation of gold mineralisation in the shale and in the feather quartz veins flanking the main quartz reefs is extremely encouraging. many such ore-bodies, in Victoria especially have shown an intimate association of quartz rich veins with shales, and the more carbonaceous the shales are; the richer the gold mineralisation usually is in the shales and in the quartz veins. This discovery is going to add much to the mining methodology of the main production and ultimately contribute much more treatable opencutable volume of ore particularly as the price of gold rises.( Your good self and Bobminer might want to comment on this observation) I would imagine the next 18 months will show magical revelations in the mode of occurrence of the gold mineralisation in the quartz reefs and the sediments that host them at Golden Hind and associates. The key now is for the mines department and other government affiliates to take note of the results of a couple of weeks ago and do something to fast track granting of licences and other bureaucratic impediments.
