Several weeks ago, maybe a month, I went to a Public Forum on immigration hosted by Warren Etsch with Scott Morrison as guest speaker in Cairns.
I can't remember word for word how he explained the boat buy back, but it was better then my attempt now.
Basically he said they were putting in progress, in my words, a credit card facility so when AFP and Indonesia Police locate a boat targeted by smugglers they could buy it under them.
For this to happen quickly and efficiently they need to have finance already organised.
Morrison also said it is only ONE of many tools they will use to stop the boats.
Also, don't be surprised if we buy very few, if any.

Don't believe too much what Labor said before election, they are know to lie and misrepresent the truth through not knowing the real facts, or deliberately to scare and discredit LNP.
In fact, I would say Labor people judge every one else as they would behave.
LNP are the right people to Govern Australia.
Labor is having a hard time governing their own Party.
