The biggest global risk affecting us is a collapse of the Chinese banking system.

If that happens we might as well pack up.

Obviously my outlook is at 180 deg with yours. That's what makes markets tick.

I'm actually very optimistic, not just for Fe and FMG, but the market generally. For what its worth, I think we are seeing the beginning of a massive flow of money currently in 'safe haven' low interest accounts, to the equity and property markets. Fear-of-missing-out is a factor, and bears have yet to enter.

Shorting hedge funds are hurting badly, here and in the US. When they capitulate they become buyers. Many economies in Europe are picking up, and the US certainly is. I think any kind of major crash anywhere is very remote.

Some people thought that our new government was already factored in, but I don't think it was entirely. There was still some uncertainty until election day. I suspect we will see some major foreign money come back to investment here. And more quickly than anticipated.
