Question for KBear and/or Southoz.
Didn't the same thing happen to Dendreon? They failed PFS initially?
What I can understand from the results is that the right immune respose has been achieved. ie. activation of T cells and no activation of antibodies.
The PFS is the same as the control group , but this trial wasn't specifically about PFS ,that is what ph3 is for, it was about the establishment of a specific immune respose , which it has done. The ph2 trial was not statistically driven to judge PFS. Improved PFS would have been good and hence the sell off and dissappointment but it wasn't the end goal for ph2.
