Do you ever store it for longer? How long is your longest success and how did it taste? (just not very practical! but delicious the longer the better)

The reason i was going to share is that i have a very old recipe book that is hand written. It is Australian from around 60yrs ago and it includes early recipes for beer, preserves, cakes, veal and such.
Unfortunately, i can't read the entire thing due to it being written in quill pen! So there's no point in giving you 90% of a recipe.
I guess google will have to do you, not many skilled vege preservists/conservists out there in hc land :-)
