    The latest shorting figure as displayed on the ASIC website stands at 7,412,304 shares or 3.62 % of the company.

    The resignations of two directors of the ASX relates to malfeasance by Manikay Partners in the United States in the shorting of stocks.

    If you google www.manikaypartners.com, their motif is an Australian gum tree which raises the question how much shorting was done by Manikay partners here and was CuDeco affected.

    This is something the Senate inquiry may well delve into.
