Considering the example I just gave of Perth property performance over the last 13 years is " mediocre " , you'd better share what your rate of return has been in the past 13 years . Nobody can predict the future , we can only use history as a guide so your predictions carry no weight , just like everyone else's .
Normally I wouldn't ask such a personal question but since you're bagging property generally and telling us how ridiculous we are for investing in property , please share with us where you are getting a better return . And I'm talking about real numbers please .
I'm quite sure there are some professional investors who spend a lot of time and money and who indeed do very well. Good luck to them . I have no problem with how hard working people making good money legally , regardless of how they make it . Like many others , I have other investments outside of property .
I'm pretty sure those professionals aren't bagging people on the property forum.
