one billion dollars a year, seems a bit over the top - and they do not seem to want to report on the awu fraud, involving gillard. when the police went to the court to try and access papers from S&G - not a mention in the abc. censorship seems to be alive at the abc.
maybe there is no need to privatize the abc - but maybe cut their funding in half - and if abbott does not get his ppl scheme through parliament - then cut the ppl scheme from the abc staff (as well as the rest of the public service)
