Normally, I would say the share price follows the gold price.
Just wonder on this occasion if 'whoever' was dumping ABU on Friday's close was also dumping gold positions OS a few hours later, precipitating the big fall in the POG?
Change of substantial shareholding announcement for ABU next week perhaps?
PS....the market certainly hasn't been swayed by these very long and detailed trial mining updates. Waiting on news of recoveries, or a flawed strategy? Time will tell I guess.
