No they are not. The intentions of a shorter is not to stop the price of a share from rising, but to make it go lower.

The real intentions of a shorter is to sell borrowed share thus trying to get them to go down, and because they have noticed that the price of a Company has been trading at an overinflated price.

In all honesty, do you think that they would continue to accumulate their shortings if they could see, or have a very small whiff that they could get caught with their pants down.?? Why is it that the shorting of CDU shares is increasing, and not reducing.??

There is no doubts that there have been times in the past that some shorters have got it all wrong but, more times than not, they have always got it right.

Now Roh, I would think it more likely that the ones that could be stopping the sp from rising, are the ones that are constantly supplying the market with shares to sell.

It is just supply and demand, very simple. And you'd be surprised as to whom they might be.

And no, it isn't my shares that I am talking about here. It is about the shares of someone that pumped like hell and now are leaving the scene for someone else, while loading the saddlebags full of cash on the back of the horse, and riding away into the sunset.
