Positive for anyone that wanted to buy and obviously negative for anyone that wanted to sell any time soon.
Can't see how it would have anything other than a short term sp impact. Eventually the sp will rise with earnings; enough to see it back into the ASX 300 and then the index tracking funds will be buying back in again at a higher price than where they had to sell. Hopefully we also see it in the ASX 200 one day in the not too distant future.
