In my view, SEA has been great for TXN holders. I sold my TXN weeks before the merger and bought SEA, just in case the deal fell through).
THe deal valued TXN at .40 and SEA at .80 from memory. SEA has since gone up about 40%. TXN mark II on the other hand, from my observation, has more than halved from over 10 cents to under 4. Correct me if any of this is wrong.
For many, however, the buy in on TXN was greater than .40. My average price was .60. (Only because i averaged down considerably towards the end). When Sea hits $1.20 i am officially break even. Woohoo.
I will however, hold SEA for much longer. They Are in the bottom drawer as a retirement next egg.
